Niacinamide
Also known as vitamin PP, niacinamide is a derivative of vitamin B3, with multiple benefits for the skin. It is recognized for its ability to restore the skin barrier by stimulating the synthesis of lipids, which strengthens the skin's resistance.
Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide reduces redness and boosts skin radiance by acting against pigment spots, in particular by stimulating collagen production. Result: smoother, clearer and less dull skin.
In addition to its brightening effects, niacinamide reduces pore size and improves skin elasticity and texture by limiting sebum production. It also has anti-aging properties as it promotes collagen production, which improves skin firmness.
Unlike vitamin C, niacinamide is less irritating and is not sensitive to light or heat, thus providing an antioxidant action without the disadvantages of irritation. For optimal results, it is recommended to use niacinamide at a concentration between 2% and 5%.
